Vida Homeloans is the specialist first and second charge mortgage lender for residential and buy to let customers who may not fit the criteria currently demanded by high street banks. Vida uses the latest technology to support and inform human decisions, helping intermediaries get specialist cases off their desks.

Vida’s criteria-driven lending proposition has made a positive impact on the market, with 7,000 intermediaries registered to do business and £400 million in mortgage completions. Since the end of January 2018, Vida has been conducting a pilot in the second charge mortgage market, offering a range of residential and buy to let second charge mortgages through selected master brokers. This is part of a ‘test and learn’ phase in advance of a wider launch into the market through additional, carefully selected distributors.
